All She Wants To Do Is Dance...

Tonight was Madi's "Super Toddler" class and she could not wait! She was very anxious.
Madi is a hyper-active only child who needs to learn how to listen to other adults, following instructions and WAIT HER TURN. :) So instead of putting her in daycare I am trying to get her in a few actives that will help develop her for pre-school.
Her Grandma Jacie made her a new tutu!

She is lovin' her new look!

Most of the other kids have been doing this since like fall, I think, and this was Madi's first night. She was not understanding she had to STAY on the white line and listen to the instructor. All she has ever known is Mama's the boss and disciplinarian so she kept facing me, lol! We were doing the "big claps." Well...I am. :)

Thank God the instructor knows us! She is laughing due to Madi being lost and ornery.

We are skipping down the runway...

This is actually me trying to get her off of this and with the rest of the group.

She is doing great here and loving it!!

And this is what made her disobey all night...the trampoline she played on last week. Finally she got her turn to jump...I MADE her wait until last, to try and teach her what it means to wait your turn. As an only child she honestly doesn't get this concept.

This photo needs no words, LOL!

I hate taking my arthritis medication and have only taken it about 10 times in the past year and tonight was one of them! She's worth every pain.

Holiday Weekend

While most families had a 4 day weekend, having our own small business we can't always do that and especially the way times are right now. So, Andy was off on Thurs. and then on Sun. as usual. We wanted to give Madi a great day on Sun. Here's how it went:

Went to the park to play one last time before it's gets too cold.

It's close to an hour away but well worth it for her!

Made this fun dessert for her when we got home.

Her very first time eating a rice krispie treat!

Watched some School of Rock and jammed with Jack Black!

She helped her dad with the outdoor Christmas tree. (no future pole dancing!!)

I think she had a great day!

Trying to Feel 18 Again!

Andy and I are going to see Tesla in concert on the 21st. For those of you who don't know who they are or have forgotten this was there big hit in the 80s.

And when I was in High School I wasn't allowed to go to these concerts due to them playing in big arenas and me being a small framed girl my mom was afraid I would get stomped on.
So I guess we are ready to feel young again for one night! I have met Rock Stars before one being Jack Russell the singer from the band Great White.

I would LOVE to meet the singer Jeff from this band as well but the only problem is that was in August of like 1998 and it was warm outside at 2am and I was still looking pretty young at that point!
This concert is outside in Oct. and if I go up and say "hey J..J...Jeff can I get my picture with you 'cause I really love your voice", this is how Rockin' I will look!
This is what I will be wearing underneath the big parka! But it will be in the low 40s so no one will ever see it!
Maybe if I am lucky enough to get a pic I will throw my coat off real fast and pray my hair won't have static electricity!

Annual Fall Pictures

This has been a really fun thing for us to look back on. Fall is my favorite time of year and anymore as I get older I want to add traditions for our family.

Felt Like a Princess

Andy & I had a wonderful date night on Friday night. We went and had a couples massage, (I bought him for Christmas Last year) dinner at The Cheesecake Factory, Madi's Christmas shopping done, he bought me a ton of make-up as a gift and got us a gorgeous room at the Hilton. We used to do things like this all the time when we were younger. Felt great to be able to get away, just the two of us for a night.

*This was a really nice hotel right by all of the shopping!

*Getting ready for the massage!

*The Cheesecake Factory is always a great place to eat. They have the biggest menu I have ever seen.

*Back at the room where Andy is like~OMG you are putting this on your blog, right?!

*All this great make up he bought for me...ah the way to my heart.

*This is where us Hillbillies go instead of Walmart when we are out of town!

*It doesn't take much to excite me. I played with the clock in the room for a long time.

*And how did the night end...

I'll never tell...;-)

My Posse

THE BLOGGERS PRAYER

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck,
manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly -
all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house
and take care of my family.
Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life.
And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
