Domestic Goddess!

Two things you could have never convinced me of in my 20s is that I would actually plan to have a child and that I would have an apron collection!

Here's my latest apron bought at an Amish market.

(thinking I am a riot with these spoons in my hair!)

Now being a Mother is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I gotta look the part!

Seriously, I think that aprons are something cool to be passed down through generations of woman (wow is this really me talking?) as well as family recipes.

What are some things that you collect or plan to pass down to your children?

I have some aprons that my grandmother made. I adore them and will pass them on to my daughters one day.

I had started reading the BIble through a year chronologically back in Jnauary. I had big plans to keep a journal that I could write down verses that Stood out to me jot down my thoughts, etc as I read through. I thought this wopuld not only be a great thing for me to look back on but for my boys as well. Well I wasn't as faithful in wirting in the journal as I had hoped. I do plan on doing that for them though but maybe when I start a new reading plan in January.

My Posse

THE BLOGGERS PRAYER

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck,
manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly -
all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house
and take care of my family.
Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life.
And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
