Amy meets Amy

A few years ago you could have never convinced me that you could make some of your best friends online. When I was pregnant with Madi in 2006 Andy's cousins told me how blogging was a way to share stories and photos with friends and family. So, I basically started it so our out of town families could see my pregnancy process and Madi's birth and milestones. Little did I know all the great women that I would get to know and call my friends. I feel like Amy and I can talk about anything and everything...I am blessed to have her in my life and thankful that I got to hug her and see her in person!!

Strike a pose.

Can you hear us laughing...poor Andy, lol! He was taking our picture and we were making accusations about it! With two Amys he didn't stand a chance.

The time went fast and the closer we got to Ohio I realized how much I wished we lived closer to each other.
What a cool thing this world wide web truly is :)

I have to agree...I have met so many wonderful people through blogging! And I've had the privilege of meeting several of them in real life.

I too was a skeptic about truly bonding with people online. My best friends are those I have met on the net. We have shared laughter and tears, hopes and fears, and I would never trade them for anything. I have learned so much about people but even more about myself thanks to them. I am glad you got to meet yours in person. That is so awesome!

That sounds so fun! I've always wanted to try blogging but have not worked up the courage to dive in yet! It's nice to know that bloggers feel that their readers are friends, because as a reader, I feel like we "know" each other!

My Posse

THE BLOGGERS PRAYER

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck,
manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly -
all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house
and take care of my family.
Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life.
And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
