SINCERELY FRO ME TO YOU-Gymnast

We now have a new host for SFMTY, so a big THANKS to Marcy for keeping this fun carnival going strong.

Back in 1983 when I was around the age of 10 (quit doing the math!) I was big into gymnastics, ballet, jazz, acrobats and dance classes. We had a lot of fun and would put on recitals for our families and do some minor competitions. My Mom was always so proud of her little girl, so when they told her she could have a wooden cutout of her daughter made you know she just had to have them!

TaDa!

Please visit Marcy for more SFMTY fun today!

Hey girl!

You asked about the swap. -Go to my blog and you will see on the right a button for the next blog I am participating in.
When you go to that blog, it should be pretty explanatory if you want to join! :)
If you have any questions, email me. My addy is available in my blog profile.

Hope this helps! They are lots of fun. :)

My cousins always had the cut outs in magnet form on their fridge. I was so jealous our sports teams in MD didn't do that. Maybe now, I am not so jealous. :-)

Once upon a time my brother and I put on a circus show in the living room. Part of the routine was to stand on our heads.
I ran out.... took my position and stood on my head. Then came my brother to do the same thing. (This was going to look REALLY cool, you know.)
Well- he stood on his head for about 2 seconds, lost his balance and fell ..... and kicked me in the face.
That ended the performance.

Oh my gosh!!! Where do you store them? Or do you just decorate your bedroom with them? Because I would totally do that!

These little cut outs always crack me up when I see them at peoples houses. I actually almost made them of the softball players for a dinner we were having. I might still do them for the end of the year party.

Those are great cutouts! Aren't you glad you held onto them?

My Posse

THE BLOGGERS PRAYER

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck,
manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly -
all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house
and take care of my family.
Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life.
And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
