Update on Pebbles

The Dr wanted to see Pebbles' rash today and got us in at 3:10. His diagnosis was my original thought, but I wanted to hear someone else say it. I didn't think it would be the antibiotic because she had taken it before but in smaller doses. Her rash is from where she has a cold so long (4 wks now) and so often, she wipes her face constantly with saliva and well...snot! She keeps it wet all day and then it dries at night ending up chapping her little cheeks. The tops of her hands have it too where she rubs the saliva (teething like crazy) around. I'm to sooth it vaseline and 1% hydrocortizone cream for itching. Poor baby, she vomited on her grandma while we were there and she's never thrown up before. I think she was nervous and a bit love sick! She fell in love with a little two yr old boy "Maddox" in the waiting room!

Hope she feels better soon! Lauren's cheeks get like that when she is sick and throughout the winter months. I use Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Moisture Cream as a preventitive, because they can get pretty nasty.

Duh me. I didn't even think about her wiping her face. It's been so long since I've had little ones. I'm glad it's something simple like that. Hopefully the never ending cold will leave her soon!

We had the same problem when Levi was teething. Just so you know you're not alone. Hopefully the cream heals it up quickly for her.

My Posse

THE BLOGGERS PRAYER

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck,
manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly -
all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house
and take care of my family.
Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life.
And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
