Tackle it Tuesday...Gift

There are times in our lives when we need to give someone a gift for a special occasion, but we don't always have the finances to do so. Everytime I go to my local Christian store I see these photos with bible verses or poetry in pretty frames but they are always very expensive. So, I decided last year during Christmas to make a few of these for the family.

2 little eyes to look to God,
2 little ears to hear His Word,
2 little feet to walk His ways,
2 little lips to sing His praise,
2 little hands to do His will,
and 1 little heart to love Him still

I also have this photo & poem on my sidebar.

A family friend recently had a baby and at this particlar time our business is slow. Wondering what to get her, I thought why not take a pic of her in the hospital and find the right poem to suit the photo. Since she's looking into her daughter eyes, I chose Martina McBride's song "In My Daughter's Eyes". Perfect and the frames are $2 at Walmart. I put the words on a free card maker program.

In my daughter's eyes I can see the future
A reflection of who I am and what will be
Though she'll grow and someday leave
Maybe raise a family
When I'm gone I hope you see how happy
she made me
For I'll be there
In my daughter's eyes

I can't tell you how very much I love your blog Little Toes!!
Your blog is so uplifting that I try my best not to miss one of your precious posts.
When is Little Cheerio's birthday? Our Hannah is Wales turns 20 on 10th of March. I just sent her gift out to her yesterday. A lovely retro looking sundress and a pair of John Madden shoes. All bought at my local T.J. Maxx for the low, low price of $30.00. It cost me more to mail it I tell you!!
Please hit me at my blog and tell me when Miss Cheerios birthday is..
I may want to send the sweet little life a trinket if that would be okay?? Please say yes!!
One day she will know what a sweet wonderful mum she has and how very blessed she is :)
It does my heart good to see a child raised in the ways of our Lord Jesus Christ hon. You've just made my day......again!!

My Posse

THE BLOGGERS PRAYER

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck,
manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly -
all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house
and take care of my family.
Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life.
And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
