Tackle it Tuesday...work in progress

The other day while Pebbles was napping I decided to tackle the bathroom closet. My Grandma Wee remodeled our bathroom as a gift about 3 years ago. Just like how I let the contractor talk me into the non-skid tub, I also let him talk me out of putting new shelves in my closet. He thought a closet organizer would be a better idea.
Brace yourselves...here it goes:

This is the mess that has been growing for almost three years!

It took me forever just to get everything out of there.

I didn't even go through my old make-up, I just tossed it out! Felt good too.

I had been working on it for well over an hour and I knew Pebbles would be waking up soon. So, this is obviously a two nap job. I put the things I wanted to keep in baskets and decided I need to go get another shelf for the other side.

Hopefully in a few weeks it'll be done. :)

Go to 5 minutes for mom for more great tacklers!

Wow, great tackling! It's so hard to get up the guts to pull everything out and just go for it! This week I've been working on my laundry. It's getting worse before it gets better. I love that you just threw out the makeup without going through it, and that you said it felt good. I'm going to be thinking about that. Thanks for sharing! :-)

You are really picking good tackles! And what a relief this one will be when it's all done, I'm sure.

My laundry room - ugh.

My garage - double ugh.

My cabinets - quadruple ugh.

My closets - ??? you get the idea.

Go get em! Whip that room into shape!

I skipped triple ugh and went straight for quadruple - which proves that I am channeling Ralphie.

THE BLOGGERS PRAYER

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck,
manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly -
all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house
and take care of my family.
Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life.
And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
