When Pebbles was just an infant she was diagnosed with acid reflux and her physician told me to always prop her up to sleep and never let her lay flat. Well, that's easier said than done. So I ended up putting her in the bed with me and using a boppy to keep her from sliding or rolling down. Needless to say she only slept in her crib for a short period of time. She would however take naps and play in it but then would want to sleep with me at bedtime.

But now it's time to try and tackle the big girl bed! She fell asleep in it fine the first night! I will not force her to sleep in it, but try to make it fun so that she will want to.

I think she likes it!!

I put her favorite poster on the wall so she would have something to look at.

She got out of it like a pro.

This is actually in the dark when she fell asleep in it for the first time. :)
Please go
HERE for more tackles!

ooh there's nothing like the transition to a big kid bed! I love the virtual weight loss model on your side bar. Good motivation!
Great tackle!! Way to go Mom!!
Great job..and I love how personal you've made it for her..as well as understanding she has to adjust to it!
GREAT JOB MOM!!!
We have that same bed!! Yeah!
Great job, mom and Pebbles!
Girl, she looks so big in those pictures. Shew!
I loved seeing the pictures from when she was younger...what a cutie!!! Good luck Sleep Training. The crib/toddler bed transition can be tough...but I'm sure you can do it!
Great pictures!
Re: Your comment on my place...
How can you tell how long they can hold their bladder???
I would think at almost three Noah can hold his. But I have no idea really.
Awww good for her!!
Yay!!! Such a big step. :)
Great Job Mom and Pebbles...that is too cute...that time is always bittersweet.

This was such a HUGE step for us with my now 9 year old. And it was a process that took about 1 month from sleeping on the floor in his new room to the mattress on the floor to up in the bed....
So cute!
