Christmas Eve Party

I will start off with our Christmas Eve night with "Fred's" family. At my MIL's house everything is very elegant with a victorian style and she gets out her best china, crystal, napkins and has the silverware all polished to a bright shine.

"Pebbles" had a great time visiting and playing with her cousins. They are so gentle and good with her!

Her favorite gift of the night was a ball her cousin Emily had got her.

Since it's just WRONG for her to think I'm the best ball player in the world, Emily showed her a few moves!

A friend of Emily's was there and Fred felt bad that he didn't have a gift to open so he found something special in the kitchen and wrapped it in foil!! He was such a good sport about it!

We had a great evening together despite Luther being in the hospital and time going too fast as usual. We all need to get together more often.
I wish I could say more but, when you have a 21 month old with a bunch of new toys...you get pretty tired!
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Can't wait to share more on my next post.

It sounds like a wonderful visit. I too wish our family got together more often. It's hard though when everyone's spread out.

What a beautiful celebration! Your MIL sounds like a class act, and it sounds like her son took after her...:)

Aren't cousins wonderful?? Snow White thoroughly enjoyed every minute with her cousins this holiday season. It gets even better as they get older!

My Posse

THE BLOGGERS PRAYER

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck,
manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly -
all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house
and take care of my family.
Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life.
And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
